According to the results from a TEAMSTA Diabetes research presented at the 21st Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Society of Hypertension, TWYNSTA® is quite promising in its ability to reduce high blood pressure among diabetics. TWYNSTA® is a combination of the telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. Both telmisartan and amlodipine are prescribed for individuals with hypertension.
